The Complete Nursing Skills Manikin KERi uses Life/form molding and modeling techniques to provide an unusually realistic appearance without being age-specific. Life/ form simulations have been included in KERi to allow the practice of more than 35 patient care procedures. The training manikin fulfill all OBRA requirements.
The following nursing and patient care procedures can be performed:
1. Prostate examination (Stage B)
2. Ostomy Care (Ileostomy and colostomy lavage and suctioning)
3. Tracheostomy care (lavage and suctioning)
4. Placement of Nasogastric tubes
5. Oral and nasal lavage, gavage and suctioning
6. Enema administration (female), pap smears and douching
7. Intramuscular Injection (arms, thigh, buttock)
8. Oral hygiene (removable upper and lower denture)
9. Eye irrigation, bed baths, hair care (washing, combing)
10. Patient positioning and transfer techniques, clothing changes
11. Ear irrigation and hearing aid placement and removal
12. Bandaging and wound dressing (including fingers and toes)
13. Urinary Catheterization – Female and Male (Uncircumcised)
